With White House Plumbers confirmed for March, what’s the status of Succession? The Last of Us will end in March, Perry Mason will air in March on Mondays… I think it’s unlikely that White House Plumbers (which will have five episodes) will air on Mondays along with Perry Mason… but if it’s aired on Sundays, I don’t think there would be time for Succession to air the entire season before the end of May. Unless I’m forgetting some detail.

The Last of Us finishes on March 12th so if it airs on Sunday I presume The White House Plumbers will then air (seeing as it needs to air all its episodes to be eligible in this cycle and has already been confirmed for March) with one of Barry and Succession and then the one that isn’t paired up with it then will start around April 16th.

Succession season 4 is set to have 10 episodes whilst Barry season 4 is set to have 8 so I presume the former will begin first.

TV FYC: Juno Temple ("Fargo"), Tony Shalhoub ("Mr. Monk's Last Case"), Rashida Jones ("Silo"), The Curse, The Gilded Age and Slow Horses in all categories.

I was doing the dates and something feels off for Barry in that case.
Supposedly Succession would start March 19th, paired with White House Plumbers.
    WHP would then air on 19, 26, 2, 9 and 16.
Then Barry would premiere April 23rd, but they would only have 6 Sundays till the end of May which would leave the hanging episodes and then making it eligible only for 2024? Am i missing something? I know for a fact Succession is coming March 19 or 26, but Barry puzzled me now.

Maybe they will pair Barry with another comedy (probably Somebody Somewhere) and air 3 hours straight for some weeks? Idk.

    FYC: Colin Farrell, "Sugar"
    Carrie Preston, "Elsbeth"
John Turturro, "Mr & Mrs Smith"
    Ethan Hawke, "Reservation Dogs"

Shōgun, Fargo and The Gilded Age in all categories.

I live for the 3x Best Drama Series winner Succession!

I doubt it, with this cast and crew behind it, it is for sure getting the Sunday slot.
Maybe it starts airing with the final two weeks of The Last of Us, then everything works.

It ended shooting like a year ago and had BTS issues so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a mess and indeed gets sent to Monday tho…

We said that last year with The Gilded Age.

It’ll be wrapped for like eighteen months by the time it airs. Not that it’s super timely, but it’s a long time to hold something.

Why would it be airing in March at the heart of Emmy season then and not just getting dumped already though? It’s not like HBO haven’t had any slots free these past few months and they have plenty of shows to air already in the Spring.

I don’t think it’s necessarily bad, but I just wouldn’t rule out a Monday spot. The Gilded Age got great ratings in that spot. It’s not necessarily a show that will necessarily skew particularly young and they do tend to like to target Twitter watercooler shows for Sundays. It can still be good and not be that.

They may well have just held it because of how aggressive Starz was with Gaslit, same as Love and Death/Candy.
