Wow, why The Good Lord Bird and The Undoing so low (especially the former)?
It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

I’m not buyingTheGood LordBirdas a Series contender. It’s probably a phenomenal series and it’s on my watchlist but I see little buzz outside of its writing and Hawke’s performance. Showtime also have three shows to campaign in Series and I think that will hurt all three of their shows in the series category (four if Viola Davis’ show comes out this season).
I haveTheUndoinglow for now (although I think I’ll put it higher thanThe Good Lord Bird) because now we’re starting to get some real competition in these categories and I can see the show do very well in noms (it will dominate some of the technicals and I don’t see either Sutherland or Grant missing at this point) it couldjustmiss in Series, Actress and Directing. IfGeniusgets the same response from critics as the last two series have I’ll slot The Undoing in over it but I feel likeThe Undoingcould be this year’sUnbelievable/Sharp Objectsexcept it also misses Series because of the crowded field.
TV FYC: Juno Temple ("Fargo"), Tony Shalhoub ("Mr. Monk's Last Case"), Rashida Jones ("Silo"), The Curse, The Gilded Age and Slow Horses in all categories.

It’s the most watched Netflix miniseries ever. It’s absolutely happening.

Frontrunner or not, it’s getting nominated. This is at worst the Unbelievable of the year.

Yeah, I don’ t see how would HBO choose to handle three actresses in Limited Series if they don’t think Mare of Easttown is a big contender overall. They must be confident.
The’ve done it last season with Watchmen, I Know This Much is True and The Plot Against America but they were more distributed in terms of internal competition.

Anya Taylor-Joy might end up being vulnerable if her category gets ultra competitive but I think The Queen’s Gambit is safe in Series, S. Actress, Writing and Directing.
anya taylor joy is the moment so idk… if she keeps the buzz, she may not be that vulnerable. Probably Anya will get a massive push from Netflix too

Scenes From a Marriage with Jessica Chastain finishes filming in February)
I’m sure the post-production won’t be done until May so this is probably for fall. They already have Mare of Easttown for spring. The White Lotus might also come out in spring too.

(Scenes From a Marriage with Jessica Chastain finishes filming in February).
Wow, that’s gonna be a big threat for every season it’ll be released. I really hope it’s going to be released for the next season because I want somebody else to win, but she also has another miniseries project, portraying a country singer, and I think that will start quite soon, so I think that it’s plausible to release Scenes From A Marriage at the end of this season to really add some Emmy buzz.

Just my thoughts, A Teacher ain’t going anywhere at the Emmys
At the year we had I May Destroy You dealing with such care and love for how to threat abuse and rape, A Teacher is just destroying it all and I hope the Academy doesn’t even notice then.Even if we put the show aside, the performances are not wow, they are both solid, but the others are way better.
