Fantasia is incredibly Versatile in her vocal abilities and she does not scream. There is technique to the things she does with her voice.

I’m sure she will be using multiple stylings and techniques in the music for this film.

The same goes for you. I’m a grown woman and can say what I want, how I want. I haven’t said anything wrong, you’re just upset that I am not a fan of Fantasia. It’s interesting that you and bkcinephile2022 criticize me for being a black woman and not supporting Fantasia, when you both criticized Cynthia. So quit being self-righteous and disingenuous.

Just to be clear, my issue was your tone, not that you aren’t a fan, you have the right to like whomever you choose. Maybe don’t be so demeaning to a fellow black woman, fan or otherwise.

And as for Cynthia – because, clearly reading isn’t a strong suit – I said that my issue with her is her past comments about black Americans for which she never apologized – a fact, not an opinion. That was a huge reason she got blowback for both Harriet and Aretha. If you don’t like us, then don’t play our icons and legends.

Now who’s being demeaning? Lmaoooo. Cynthia has nothing to apologize for. I’m a Black American and I agreed with what she wrote. Black Americans kill me picking and choosing who and what to be outraged over. You wouldn’t want someone bringing up your past but want to constantly bring up hers? You act like she wrote those Tweets while she was in The Color Purple. She wrote them before any of us knew who she was. Leave her alone.

Wow. I like her voice and I think I prefer her softness to Cynthia’s kind of deep voice. But I would like to see her sing something with high notes, because Cynthia is very good at that. And that may be where the other commenting thinks she is hollering. Plus, she was nice to look at in this clip. Lol

PS: I’m still mad about Cynthia’s EGOT.
