Welcome to the Kill Count!, I'm, Kaleb, and I've only done this once for a Halloween special! So, this year, I was thinking.
What's the move? Well, we can take two birds out with one stone with this.
I commemorate the return of Hunter x Hunter and give you a new special! So, let's get to it! What are the rules? I have to see it or get a number for what I don't see.
That's about it! Hunter begins with the Hunter Exam Arc! It's, a great introductory story where we establish our characters, look into our relationships, and count the sheer amount of those lost to the horrifying hunter world.

We don't have to worry about anything happening until Episode 4, where they get to the second part of the exam.
There's the fake examiner, but since they were just a "man-faced, ape," I feel that isn't easy to count.
But since we'll be counting ants, later, I guess this is fine.

You know, Togari reminds me of Chu, but that's just a Yu Yu Hakusho character, so Togashi is allowed to do.

11! Killua shows us his shadow step and ultra instinct before ultra instinct and adds another body with his battle against Johness.

15! When, trying to initiate a fight with Hisoka.
This character named Goz just dies because he was already fatally wounded from getting into it with Illumi.

16! While Gon is fishing for some points, Hisoka SMOKES this guy with a sword.
While Gon, is running away from Hisoka.
Geretta has already got the drop on him.
Hisoka returns to give Gon his button because he got everything back from Geretta, who he just smoked.

17! The gang got caught up in a snake trap by a post-humous Bourbon.
Ponzu turned the dude into a pincushion, but Bourbon's got the frame traps.

This is probably one of the biggest what the hell moments in "Hunter." The.
Next death is Bodoro, and he didn't even do anything.
I think this also tracks back to when Killua was pissed with Netero and just smoked.
Those two guys from before.
I can definitely understand that Killua is going through a lot, but goddamn.
After this, there's a dry period in deaths, which is probably a good thing, considering how wild the Hunter License Exam arc was.
But.
Let's do a checklist for the time.

We have a total of 52 for the Hunter License Exam Arc! People, killed by the exams: 32 Hisoka has got a good number with 13.
Killua's got 4.
Illumi's got 2! And Ponzu, of all people, got a good 1! On to the next arc! Ep.

And, that's in the famous battle of Hisoka Vs., Kastro., Unfortunately, a clone and the "Wolf Fang Fist" was not enough to defeat the Joker.
Episode 43! Goddamn, that's so far.
I thought it was called Hunter x, Hunter, man.
Where's, the hunting? Anyways.
Our first kills back are some of our biggest pile-ups in these couple of arcs! The Phantom Troupe goes completely wild on this underground mafia auction! I had to make a stitched photo of the panning shot to get all the bodies we had laid out.
Franklin, in one clip, takes out 119 mafia members! Until we get further.
This might be the largest massacre by any character.
One of Nostrade's bodyguards also dies to Franklin.
The clone guy Tocino.
(+120), After, that, Shizuku makes sure no survivors are left and smokes Baise and Ivlenkov.
(+2) Yorknew, in this singular episode, doubles all the arcs before it combined.
And I'm, not even done with this.

This rampage, we'll see many people getting smacked up, but I have a stitched photo for this.

What's so crazy? Is that Goku's reaction to getting hit with a rock is more dramatic than Uvo with a sniper rifle.

So! A few willing members of the gang want to help contribute to Uvogin's kill streak by challenging his durability with a BAZOOKA.
As, you can imagine, it did not work.
They try to escape, but.
Yeah.
There wasn't a chance.
But.
Let's say that some anime stuff happened, and the previous bodies despawned, and these ones from this perspective are the ones we just saw getting smacked, which would be about 16! (+16), And now.

44!, (Another ding! Fade into Uvogin smiling) Ep.
44 is THE.

After messing up their hand from PUNCHING UVO and trying to keep him stuck by burrowing in the ground.
With his arm, Worm faces, COMPLETE OBLITERATION.
Uvo takes a BITE OUT OF THE, COMPETITION.

Episode 45!, So, I love that Shizuku helps me out with the following members of the shadow beasts.

The remaining six shadow beasts here meet their fate against the troupe.
But! We know that Chrollo uses Owl's nen ability in the fight against the Zolydycks.
This means Owl is alive, and only five Shadow Beasts died, here.
The last death of this episode is when Phinks takes care of Dio.
Yes, his name isn't Dio; no, I will not be telling you what it is.

Kurapika finds one of the hired assassins, most likely taken out by Chrollo and his many pens.
Episode 53! In this shot, there are six guards.
Because of how big of a job the ten dons are, I.

Very interesting, because when looking up his name, you find out that not only is his name Bean, but he's voiced by the voice of the announcer in Smash 4.

Getting to this episode, I will say that my heart sank.
Because I, never really expect to feel so bad for a character.
I, don't see much in the entire franchise, but Togashi really did his job with Squala.
This really sucked and honestly, I'm still upset about this happening years.
